We Make Change Strengthens Partnership with CSG

Bolstering social impact as CSGers lend skills and expertise to affect positive change

In a continuing partnership, global volunteering platform, We Make Change, and leading SaaS platform company, CSG, enable CSG employees to volunteer their skills and remotely supercharge promising impact entrepreneurs throughout 2023. The CSG Change Days will continue to see CSGers using their skills to strategically support impact startups in addressing challenges across the world.

A partnership for change

Formed at the beginning of 2022, We Make Change’s partnership with CSG leverages the skills of CSGers to help make a social impact by supporting impact startups, which are early stage social enterprises. The CSG Change Days in 2023 build on a successful series of Change Days carried out in 2022.

CSG Change Days supercharge impact startups

Last year more than 100 CSG employees participated in Change Days, supporting 39 impact startups, with many employees continuing to volunteer beyond the day. The Change Days were used to support causes such as reducing inequalities, digital inclusion, and environmental stewardship.

β€œWe are truly grateful for the support and knowledge gained from the CSG Change Day”, said Marie, Co-Founder of Antonia and Grace, one of the startups supported last year. β€œOur CSG ChangeMakers brought their varied, and relevant experiences to the experience, which led to an excellent session, and we identified critically important strategies that will lead to a stronger organisation.”

Mohamed Elamir, Co-Founder of Woamy, creators of a sustainable biofoam, said of their CSG Change Day experience, β€œThere are many challenges that new startups face in the early stages. Joining the Change Day helped us to highlight these challenges and transform them into opportunities!”

Jehu Leconte, Founder of EDEN - a nonprofit helping families to escape homelessness - said, β€œthe CSG Change Day is a map to success for enterprises like EDEN. The Change Day allowed me to navigate through each goal precisely because of a diverse set of skills. We are grateful for the Change Day and...we have the DREAM TEAM!”

Making more change in 2023 πŸš€

The high value of CSGers’ skills means that the participating impact startups will be able to scale their work effectively and make faster progress to supercharge their impact in 2023.

β€œI’m absolutely delighted to continue and grow our partnership with CSG. Making change as an employee isn’t always easy. By giving their employees the opportunity to volunteer their skills through Change Days, CSG is providing a flexible, accessible, and effective way for their teams to make real impact. Since the start of this partnership, we have seen the skills, passion, and motivation CSGers have to make change happen and we can’t wait to engage even more the team through Change Days this year.”

James Sancto, Co-Founder & CEO, We Make Change

β€œAt CSG, our purpose is to invent and shape a better, more future-ready world that delivers real impact for our colleagues, customers, and communities. Through powerful community-based organisations like We Make Change, CSGers volunteer their time and intellectual capital to help social enterprises drive more meaningful impact where it matters the most. We are proud to extend our partnership with We Make Change to help propel progress in solving some of the most urgent challenges the world faces today.”

Cindy Parsons, Executive Dir. ESG & Social Responsibility
