CSG Employees Use Their Skills to Make Environmental Impact

Operating across more than 120 countries worldwide, CSG manages billions of critical customer interactions annually, and its award-winning suite of software and services allow companies across dozens of industries to tackle their biggest business challenges and thrive in an ever-changing marketplace.

The CSG Environment Change Day brought together 20 employees from across the world to volunteer their expertise to support 5 Social Enterprises addressing environmental challenges.

THE SOCIAL ENTERPRISES

The Social Enterprises they supported were:

AppCyclers who provide e-waste education, e-waste collection services, e-waste recycling, and upcycling solutions to promote a greener and safer environment in Ghana 🇬🇭

BD Waste who are an end-to-end web and mobile waste and recycle-enabling platform that connects waste generators with collectors, processors and recyclers in Africa 🇬🇭

Franchine Young Ireland who are an emerging organic brand with a passion for pure ingredients, simplified skin care and a desire to protect people, animals and our environment 🇮🇪

Greenpop who restore and protect forest ecosystems across Sub-Saharan Africa using an integrated ecosystem restoration and sustainable development approach 🇿🇦

Madiba & Nature who use plastic waste from the ocean to create ecoboats for fishermen in Cameroon 🇨🇲

WHAT HAPPENED

Ahead of the day, the CSG employees were matched with a Social Enterprise based on the causes they care about and the skills the Social Enterprises needed.

On the day, they got to work! During the 4 hour session, the CSG employees worked to support the Social Enterprises with what they needed, including marketing strategies, communication, business strategy, web development and a whole lot more!

At the end of the day, the CSG employees and Social Enterprises reflected on the session and shared the steps they would take beyond the Change Day to grow the impact of the Social Enterprises.
