What Happened

Ahead of the day, CSGers were matched with an impact startup based on a causes they care about and the skills the impact startups needed.

On the day, they got to work! During the 4-hour session, CSGers worked to support the impact startups with the skills and experience they needed, including business development, marketing, UX design, web development and a whole lot more!

At the end of the day, CSGers and impact startups reflected on the session and shared the steps they would take beyond the Change Day to grow the influence of the impact startups.

β€œThis was the first time I participated in a Change Day. I wasn't sure what to expect or how I would be able to contribute.  But I found that as we listened to Ethan talk about what he was trying to achieve, we were inspired, and the ideas started coming from our team.  We all were able to contribute based on our own background and skillset in ways we couldn't have anticipated.”

- Kris, CSG ChangeMaker

β€œThis was my first time participating in a Change Day, but it definitely won't be my last! Today I learned about some new companies that are doing great things in communities I am very passionate about and I was able to lend my skills in attempting to help continue to grow and effect change within our community.”

- Dionte: CSG ChangeMaker

β€œWe Make Change was so empowering. I really enjoyed the day, the structure and how well everything went. I hope we were able to make a substantial impact on the impact startup. I can't wait to do this again.”
