The PA Consulting Change Day for their System Insights & Solutions Team brought together PA Consulting employees across the team to volunteer their skills to supercharge 3 social enterprises making change across the world!

By supporting these goals outlined by the UN SDG’s, PA Consulting’s System Insights & Solutions Team (SI&S) were able to make meaningful impact in the mission of 3 social enterprises.

The Social Enterprises

The social enterprises they supported were:

Bringo Fresh who leverage technology to shorten the fresh produce supply chain, connecting farmers with retailers 🇺🇬

Flame Away who provide an easy-to-use tool to help combat fires, leading to people becoming more aware and making their homes safer 🇳🇱

Sea Defence Solutions (SEADS) who have developed the Blue Barriers, an award-winning system that collects 100% of riverine plastic without impacting riverlife or navigation, by physically diverting the waste towards a collection basin on the riverbank 🇮🇹

What Happened

Ahead of the day, the PA Consulting employees were matched with a social enterprise based on the skills the social enterprises needed.

On the day, they got to work! During the 4 hour session, the PA Consulting employees worked to support the social enterprises with what they needed.

At the end of the day, the PA Consulting employees and social enterprises reflected on the session and shared the steps they would take beyond the Change Day to grow the impact of the social enterprises.
