First Change Programme Makes Lasting Impact
How Impactara executive coaches employees supported Social Enterprises over three months 🌎
Impactara is an impact improvement consultancy supporting businesses, charities and Social Enterprises. Their lived experience and expertise covers the breadth of organisational activities - from finance to leadership, team management, transformation and strategy.
The Impactara Change Programme brought together 8 Improvement Coaches to volunteer their expertise to help 4 Social Enterprises grow their impact.
THE SOCIAL ENTERPRISES
The Social Enterprises they supported were:
Ence: a Norwegian e-commerce platform where we collect the most ethical and sustainable products for you to buy 🇳🇴
Redpanti: who raise awareness of reusable period products, providing product comparisons, users experience and guidance and ultimately increasing the number of users of reusable period products 🇪🇸
Speak Out Revolution: who provide a safe platform for targets of workplace harassment and bullying to anonymously speak out 🇬🇧
Visible Platform: who exist to bring an end to sexual harassment on public transport, making women feel safer as they travel and experience public life 🇬🇧
THE PROGRAMME
Ahead of the programme, the Impactara coaches were matched with a Social Enterprise based on the causes they care about and the skills the Social Enterprises needed.
Change Day
The programme kicked off with a Change Day on Monday 14th June. During the 5 hour session, the Impactara coaches worked with their designated Social Enterprise to understand their challenges and how they could work together during the three month programme. This work ranged from team management, marketing strategies, partnerships proposals and financial management. At the end of the Change Day, the Impactara coaches and Social Enterprises presented their progress together, including the steps they would take before the first monthly check-in to grow the impact of the Social Enterprises.
Monthly Check-Ins
A Check-In was held each month during the programme, with each team showcasing the progress they had made during the previous month and what their goals were for the next.
Celebration Day
The programme ended with a two-hour Celebration Day, where the coaches and Social Enterprises presented the progress they had made throughout the programme.
